Design Perspective: Building an International Event Identity System with Youth Blue
The project adopts highly recognizable Youth Olympic Blue as the core visual tone, matched with vibrant hues of green, magenta and orange to deliver a fresh, bright spatial language full of youthful spirit. A unified visual identity is maintained across parking signage, in-stadium competition zones and IOC interactive exhibition spaces, covering visitors’ full journey from arrival, entry, watching games, engagement to departure.
Far more than simple event decoration, the design systematically integrates visual identity, spatial functions and audience experience. Tall 3D signage at parking lots ensures long-distance visibility; extensive blue hoardings, backdrops and wayfinding systems inside venues create a professional tournament atmosphere. The “Learn + Share” interactive pavilion features clean, bright facades and bold colored entrances to convey the Youth Olympic spirit of learning, exchange and sharing.
Multi-Layer Wayfinding: Full Journey Coverage from Arrival to Venue Entry
Entrance Identity of IOC Interactive Space:
The “Learn + Share” interactive pavilion forms a striking focal point with a minimalist large white facade framed by magenta entry borders. Entrance slogans, Olympic rings and YOG visual elements highlight the exchange philosophy of the International Youth Olympics, turning the pavilion into a core hub for visitor participation, learning and social sharing.
Integrated Visual System for Competition Venues
Full Venue Branding Package:

The unified blue palette improves on-site orderliness and delivers a stable, vivid backdrop for live broadcast footage.
