Design Perspective: Reshaping the Light Luxury Expression of a Technology Exhibition Hall with Paper-Based Structures
This project breaks away from the traditional digital exhibition hall’s reliance on wood, metal, and acrylic materials. Using eco-friendly paper-based materials like corrugated paperboard as the main structural element, combined with modular structural design, it achieves an integrated layout for product display, spatial division, brand visual identity, and negotiation functions.
The overall space is presented with a clean, lightweight, and orderly design language. This not only echoes the precise, modern, and technological nature of digital products but also, through the unique texture and structural beauty of paper-based materials, creates a sense of warmth and environmental identity that distinguishes it from traditional rigid exhibition halls.
Modular Display: An Efficient Display System for Digital Products
Corrugated Paper Display Walls: The display area uses corrugated paper display walls as the core visual interface, integrating product presentation, brand image, and spatial background into one system. Paper-based materials, through precise cutting, interlocking, and layering techniques, form stable vertical surfaces that give digital products a more prominent visual focus against the clean background.
Corrugated Paper Display Cabinet System: The display cabinets are modularly designed, allowing the number of display units to be flexibly increased or decreased based on the actual floor area. The combination of display cabinets of varying heights and scales caters to the categorized display of small items like headphones, accessories, and digital peripherals, while also enabling the brand to quickly adjust the spatial layout according to new product launches, promotional activities, or exhibition themes.
Scene Integration: A Complete Experience Loop from Display to Negotiation
Column Display Area and Pedestal Display Stands: The project makes full use of the column structures within the space, transforming these often-overlooked architectural elements into product display interfaces. The column display areas and pedestal stands enhance space utilization while giving product displays a more surrounding and exploratory feel, allowing customers to continuously engage with brand and product information as they move through the space.
Paper Furniture Negotiation System: The negotiation area introduces paper-based furniture solutions, utilizing lightweight, movable, and recyclable paper furniture for business reception functions. The paper furniture not only complements the overall eco-friendly material system but also softens the heaviness of traditional exhibition halls, giving the tech and digital space a lighter, younger, and more approachable communicative atmosphere.
